Teen & Young Adult Counseling
Teen & Young Adult Counseling
The teenage and young adult years can carry more than many people realize. Anxiety, depression, academic pressure, bullying, family conflict, changing friendships, identity questions, and uncertainty about the future can leave a young person feeling overwhelmed or alone. Some may withdraw, become angry, lose motivation, make risky choices, or not know how to explain what they are feeling.
Counseling gives teens and young adults a safe place to be honest about what they are experiencing. Their counselor will take time to listen, understand their world, and help them make sense of difficult emotions. Together, they can work on healthier ways to cope, communicate, make decisions, and handle the pressures they are facing.
When appropriate, the counselor may also work with parents or caregivers to build stronger support at home while respecting the young person’s need for trust and privacy.
Complimentary consultation: 15 minutes with a counselor.
