Faith-Integrated Counseling

Faith-Integrated Counseling

Faith can be a source of comfort, strength, and direction, but it can also be connected to difficult questions, disappointment, hurt, or uncertainty. You may be struggling to understand where God is in what you are experiencing, feeling disconnected from your faith, or carrying pain connected to a church or spiritual community. Faith-integrated counseling gives you a safe place to talk honestly about your emotional and spiritual life. If faith is important to you, your counselor can thoughtfully include it in the counseling process while also providing professional, evidence-based care. You will never be pressured to discuss or practice faith as part of counseling.

Complimentary consultation: 15 minutes with a counselor.

  • Ministry stress, burnout, and leadership challenges

How We Help

  • Use evidence-based counseling approaches alongside faith when requested

A meaningful place to begin

A place where your faith and your questions are both welcome.

You do not need to have strong faith, clear answers, or the right spiritual language before beginning counseling. You may feel angry, confused, doubtful, or distant from God. You may also be unsure whether faith is something you want to discuss at all.

Your counselor will meet you where you are. Faith will only be included in the ways you request and feel comfortable with.

Our approach

Professional counseling that respects your faith and your choices.

We understand that each person has a different relationship with faith. Your counselor will take time to understand your beliefs, experiences, questions, and preferences.

When requested, faith may be thoughtfully included alongside evidence-based counseling approaches. This could include exploring spiritual beliefs, prayer, Scripture, or questions of meaning and purpose. You remain in control of whether and how faith becomes part of your care.

A note about faith: Our counselors come from a foundation of faith, but faith will only be integrated into counseling at the client’s request. We respect each person’s beliefs, preferences, and the role faith may or may not play in their care.
