Counseling for Life Transitions

Life Transitions Counseling

Change can be difficult, even when it is expected or welcomed. A new job, graduation, marriage, parenthood, relocation, divorce, retirement, health concern, or other major transition can leave you feeling uncertain, overwhelmed, or disconnected from the life you knew. Life transition counseling gives you a safe place to talk honestly about what is changing and how it is affecting you. Your counselor will help you process what you may be leaving behind, understand what you are experiencing now, and identify the next steps as you move into a new season.

Complimentary consultation: 15 minutes with a counselor.

A meaningful place to begin

You do not have to know what comes next.

Transitions can bring mixed emotions. You may feel hopeful and afraid, relieved and sad, or grateful and overwhelmed at the same time. Even positive changes can involve loss as you leave behind familiar roles, relationships, or routines.

Counseling gives you space to be honest about all that the change is bringing. Your counselor will help you understand what you are experiencing and walk with you as you begin finding your footing.

Our approach

Care that helps you find your footing during change.

We understand that every transition carries its own emotions, challenges, and losses. Your counselor will take time to understand what has changed, how it is affecting you, and what you hope this next season may hold.

Together, you will determine what will be most helpful moving forward. This may include processing grief, managing anxiety, exploring identity and purpose, strengthening support, and identifying practical next steps.
