Depression Counseling

Depression Counseling

Depression can make even ordinary parts of life feel difficult. You may feel deeply sad, emotionally numb, exhausted, disconnected, or unable to enjoy things that once mattered to you. Getting out of bed, responding to people, completing daily responsibilities, or imagining that life could feel different may take more energy than others realize. Depression counseling gives you a safe place to be honest about what you are experiencing. Your counselor will sit with you in the heaviness, help you understand what may be contributing to how you feel, and support you as you begin taking manageable steps forward. You do not have to carry this alone or pretend that you are doing better than you are.

Complimentary consultation: 15 minutes with a counselor.

A meaningful place to begin

You do not have to pretend that you are okay.

Depression does not always look like constant sadness. You may still go to work, care for others, and handle responsibilities while feeling empty or exhausted inside. You may have difficulty explaining why you feel this way or believe that you should be able to pull yourself out of it.

Counseling gives you a place to stop pretending and talk honestly about how hard things have become. Your counselor will listen without judgment, help you understand what you are experiencing, and walk with you as you begin finding a way forward.

Our approach

Care that meets you in the heaviness and helps you begin moving forward.

We understand that depression affects each person differently. Your counselor will take time to understand your personal experience, what you have been carrying, and how depression is affecting your daily life.

Your counselor will work with you to determine what will be most helpful moving forward, using evidence-based approaches that fit your needs and goals. This may include understanding thought and behavior patterns, processing painful experiences, building supportive routines, reconnecting with relationships, and finding manageable ways to engage with life again.

The work begins where you are. Your counselor will support you as you begin rebuilding connection, recognizing your strengths, and making room for hope.
