Anxiety Counseling

Anxiety Counseling

Anxiety can make it difficult to feel settled, even when everything around you seems fine. Your mind may keep running through what could go wrong, your body may stay tense or on edge, and even simple decisions can begin to feel overwhelming. You may be dealing with constant worry, panic, fear, racing thoughts, difficulty sleeping, or the need to keep everything under control. Anxiety counseling gives you a safe place to talk honestly about what you are experiencing. Your counselor will help you understand what may be contributing to the anxiety, recognize how it affects your thoughts and body, and develop healthier ways to respond. You do not have to keep managing it by yourself.

Complimentary consultation: 15 minutes with a counselor.

How We Help

A meaningful place to begin

You do not have to wait until anxiety takes over.

Anxiety does not always look the way people expect. You may seem calm and capable to everyone around you while feeling exhausted by worry, overthinking, or the pressure to hold everything together. You may know that your fears are unlikely, but still feel unable to quiet them.

Counseling can help you understand what is happening beneath the anxiety and why your mind and body respond the way they do. Your counselor will sit with you, listen, and help you begin finding ways to feel more grounded and supported.

Our approach

Care that helps you understand anxiety and feel less controlled by it.

We understand that anxiety affects each person differently. Your counselor will take time to understand your personal experience, what may be contributing to the anxiety, and how it is affecting your daily life.

Your counselor will work with you to determine what will be most helpful moving forward, using evidence-based approaches that fit your needs and goals. This may include cognitive behavioral therapy, grounding techniques, coping skills, gradual exposure to feared situations, and learning how to respond differently to anxious thoughts and physical reactions.

The goal is not to promise that you will never feel anxious again. It is to help you understand anxiety, respond to it in healthier ways, and feel more able to be present in your life.
